葛优（英文名：Your Ge），男，1957年4月19日出生于北京，籍贯河北饶阳，中国影视演员。因受其父葛存壮的影响，自幼酷爱文艺。

Ge You (English Name: your GE), male, born in Beijing on April 19, 1957, native place: Raoyang, Hebei Province, is a Chinese film and television actor. Influenced by his father Ge Cunzhuang, he loved literature and art since his childhood.

天子脚下，皇城根上，遍地都是人才。要说那多才多艺，闻名天下，作品深得普通老百姓喜爱者，倒也并非一抓一大把。一想到“葛优躺”，是个人都会忍俊不禁。

葛优出生于北京，小时候他不喜欢表演，在幼儿园里即使有老师的命令，他也不会表演节目。就这样的一个犟小子，谁也没料到他能一直红下去。

Ge you was born in Beijing. When he was a child, he didn't like to perform. Even if he had orders from his teacher in kindergarten, he would not perform. Such a stubborn boy, no one expected him to be red all the time.

1976年，葛优来到北京昌平县兴寿公社插队，因为身体单薄，被分去养猪。1979年，全国艺术院校开始招生，葛优请假回到城里专门参加考试，结果屡次失败。后来葛优报名参加了全国总文工团的考试，面试时他表演了小品《喂猪》，受到考官的好评，并被全国总工会文工团录取。

In 1976, ge you came to the Xingshou commune in Changping County, Beijing to join the team. Because of his thin body, he was divided into pigs. In 1979, the National Art Colleges and universities began to recruit students. Ge you asked for leave and returned to the city to take special examinations, but failed repeatedly. Later, ge you signed up for the National Federation of literary and art troupe's examination. During the interview, he performed the essay feeding pigs, which was praised by the examiners and accepted by the Federation of literary and Art Troupe.

1985年拍摄首部电影《盛夏和她的未婚夫》。1992年因电视剧《编辑部的故事》中饰演的李冬宝一角而成名。1993年凭借电影《大撒把》获得第13届中国电影金鸡奖最佳男主角。1994年主演张艺谋执导的电影《活着》，获得第47届戛纳国际电影节最佳男主角奖，成为首位获此奖项的华人演员。

In 1985, she made her first film, midsummer and her fiance. In 1992, he became famous for his role as Li Dongbao in the TV series "the story of the editorial department". In 1993, he won the 13th Golden Rooster Award for Best Actor for the movie "the great master". In 1994, he starred in the film "live" directed by Zhang Yimou and won the best actor award in the 47th Cannes International Film Festival, becoming the first Chinese actor to win the award.

1997年参演许鞍华执导的电影《半生缘》；同年在冯小刚执导的贺岁片《甲方乙方》中饰演姚远一角。1998年，2002年，2004年三度获得大众电影百花奖最佳男主角奖。2006年参演电影《夜宴》。

In 1997, he took part in the movie "half life" directed by Xu Anhua, and in the same year, he played the role of Yao yuan in the new year's movie "Party A and Party B" directed by Feng Xiaogang. In 1998, 2002 and 2004, he won the best actor award of the popular film Hundred Flowers Award for three times. In 2006, he took part in the film the banquet.

2008年在冯小刚执导的电影《非诚勿扰》中饰演秦奋。2011年8月凭借《赵氏孤儿》获得第14届中国电影华表奖最佳男演员奖；12月签约英皇娱乐。2013年主演贺岁喜剧电影《私人定制》。

In 2008, he played Qin Fen in the movie if you are the one directed by Feng Xiaogang. In August 2011, he won the best actor award of the 14th China Film Huabiao Award for "Zhao's orphan"; in December, he signed a contract with King entertainment. 2014年4月18日，第11届法国影展开幕，作为本届影展形象大使的葛优在现场获颁法国骑士勋章。2015年，主演剧情片《罗曼蒂克消亡史》。2016年12月16日，主演的剧情片《罗曼蒂克消亡史》上映。

2017年2月10日，参演由谢霆锋、唐嫣和郑容和主演的电影《决战食神》上映。 2017年12月29日，参演的电影《断片之险途夺宝》在中国上映，在其中饰演牙叔。2019年2月4日，首次登上央视春晚的舞台，表演小品《“儿子”来了》  ；11月29日，主演的电影《两只老虎》上映  。

2020年6月29日，被世界文化艺术界联合会“每日一星”评选活动评为“信念宗旨星”。
