Beijing intangible cultural heritage celebrates the Spring Festival

Recently, nearly 300 intangible cultural heritage exhibits collected by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism appeared in the Beijing Winter Olympic Village, Yanqing Winter Olympic Village and the main media center of the Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games, opening the curtain of a series of publicity activities on the theme of "Beijing 2022" welcoming the Winter Olympic Games and celebrating the Spring Festival. It is reported that during the Spring Festival, the Winter Olympic Games and the winter Paralympic Games this year, Beijing will carry out unique intangible cultural heritage theme activities in non relic brands and all districts of Beijing.
Taking the Winter Olympics as an opportunity, Beijing will organize and support the cultural and tourism bureaus of all districts in the city to hold intangible cultural heritage themed activities to welcome the Winter Olympics and celebrate the new year. For example, Dongcheng District Culture and Tourism Bureau held a live broadcast of "when intangible cultural heritage meets the Winter Olympics"; Xicheng District Culture and Tourism Bureau held an online Changdian temple fair; Haidian District Culture and Tourism Bureau held intangible cultural heritage boutique exhibitions in Wukesong Gymnasium, capital gymnasium and 7 contracted hotels for the Winter Olympics; Changping District Bureau of culture and tourism held an intangible cultural heritage performance of "walking with the Winter Olympics" with the five tigers Shaolin stick; Huairou District Culture and Tourism Bureau held the cultural activity of "gathering clever rice" and carried out ice folk activities such as walking 100 ice and ice carts.
The relevant person in charge of Beijing Municipal Bureau of culture and tourism said that during the Winter Olympics and the Spring Festival, time-honored intangible cultural heritage brands will also launch intangible cultural heritage theme activities such as new product release of the Winter Olympics and Spring Festival Promotion, constantly explore new ways of integrating intangible cultural heritage into contemporary life, and promote the inheritance and development of skills.
