我用便宜的手机、穿便宜的布鞋，普通的衣物……我为什么要这样？因为我认为我没有那么厚的德行，所以我用这些很简朴的东西，我心里很踏实。若我没有德行，而要享受的太大，要奔驰、宝马、豪华别墅，顿顿饭都是上千上万……就是消耗自己的福报，折自己的福，您真敢吃，真敢用啊？

伦常乖舛，立见消亡，德不配位，必有灾殃。

舛就是违背的意思，“伦常乖舛”就是违背伦常，这种人必定是很快会消灭，被灭亡。这句话从事上讲，教导我们不能违背伦常，应该敦伦尽分，这个伦就是人与人之间的关系。古人讲究五伦的关系，所谓父子、君臣、夫妇、兄弟、朋友，这五伦关系可以说是概括了人与人之间全部的关系。而且这五种关系是人生来必须要面对的，它是一个客观存在的事实，是自然之道，不是人为创造出来的。譬如说人一出生他就有父子这一伦，父子是父母跟儿女的关系，他就会有君臣，君臣是领导与被领导的关系。

现在的学生、孩子也是那样，他不管自己是什么身分，就是要最好的。你现在一分钱不赚，你就要最好的，谁教的？

我们不会爱孩子，现在对孩子的那种爱完全是违背常理知识的。你越爱，他生病越多，越容易出灾祸，越容易夭折。
