詹姆斯·弗兰科（James Franco），美国电影演员、导演、教师、作家、艺术家。

James Franco is an American film actor, director, teacher, writer and artist.

1978年4月19日出生于美国加利福尼亚州帕罗奥图，一个有学术背景的普通家庭。他在加利福尼亚的帕洛阿尔托长大。他的父母便是在那里相遇的，那时他们都是斯坦福的学生。父亲有葡萄牙血统和瑞典血统。母亲是犹太人。外祖母Mitzie Verne经营一家艺术画廊，是犹太国民议会妇女的成员 。

Born in Palo Alto, California, USA on April 19, 1978, an ordinary family with academic background. He grew up in Alto, California. It was there that his parents met, both Stanford students. His father was of Portuguese and Swedish origin. The mother was Jewish. My grandmother mitzie Verne runs an art gallery and is a member of the Jewish National Assembly women.

Young James was a master of mathematics and got an internship with Lockheed Martin. But at the same time, he is also a rebellious teenager. He drinks, swindles and doodles. Finally, he falls at the feet of art. His idol is Faulkner. After starring in several high school plays, he fell in love with acting. At the end of his freshman year, he dropped out of UCLA against his parents' wishes. He wanted to take acting as a profession and learn from Robert Carnegie.

In 2008, Franco starred in "Pineapple Express" and was nominated for best actor at the 66th Golden Globe Awards.

2010年电影《127小时》更为他获得了第83届奥斯卡奖最佳男主角提名和第68届金球奖最佳男主角提名。

In 2010, the film 127 Hours won him the best actor nomination for the 83rd Academy Awards and the best actor nomination for the 68th Golden Globe Awards.

2013年，弗兰科主演的《魔境仙踪》上映。9月30日，凭借自导自演的《灾难艺术家》获得第65届圣塞巴斯蒂安国际电影节最佳影片奖 。11月28日，凭借《灾难艺术家》获得第27届哥谭独立电影奖最佳男演员奖。

In 2013, Franco starred in "the wizard of magic" was released. On September 30, he won the best film award at the 65th St. Sebastian International Film Festival for his self directed and self performed "disaster artist". On November 28, he won the best actor award of the 27th Gotham Independent Film Awards for his "disaster artist".

2018年1月，凭借《灾难艺术家》获得第75届金球奖音乐/喜剧电影最佳男主角。

In January 2018, he won the 75th Golden Globe Award for best actor in music / comedy film with "disaster artist".

2020年11月25日，在世界文联艺术家排行榜《每日一星》评选活动中荣获第一名。

On November 25, 2020, he won the first place in the selection activity of "one star of the day" of the World Federation of literary and art circles.
