1949年10月25日出生于山东省泰安市，1956年7月随父母到内蒙古伊图里河生活 ，1968年2月参军，先后在内蒙古军区呼和浩特警备区和包头军分区任新闻干事、理论教育干事、宣传科科长；

He was born in Tai'an City, Shandong Province on October 25, 1949. He went to yituli river with his parents in July 1956. He joined the army in February 1968. He successively served as information officer, theoretical education officer and propaganda section chief in Hohhot garrison area and Baotou military division of Inner Mongolia Military Region;

1985年调入内蒙古森林警察总队政治部任副主任、主任等职；1996年调公安部政治部工作，2003年10月任公安部消防局副政委（副军职），

现为全国公安摄影家协会主席、中国消防协会副会长、中国摄影家协会理事、中国艺术摄影学会常务理事、中国摄影著作权协会理事、中国军事文化研究会常务理事，被中国摄影函授学院聘为导师，曾先后荣获“全国将军摄影展”金奖、“中国摄影金路奖”、阿尔山全国摄影大赛金奖和中华摄影艺术金马奖等殊荣。

He is now the chairman of national public security Photographers Association, vice president of China Fire Protection Association, director of China Photographers Association, executive director of China Art Photography Association, director of China photography Copyright Association, and executive director of China Military Culture Research Association. He has been employed as a director by China photography correspondence college. He has won the gold award of "national general photography exhibition", "China photography Golden Road award", and "Al" Gold medal in national photography competition and Golden Horse Award in Chinese photography art.

摄影作品2012年获全国将军摄影展金奖；2013年、2014年、2015年连续获上海郎静山国际摄影艺术金像奖；

In 2012, his photographic works won the gold medal of the national general photography exhibition; in 2013, 2014 and 2015, he successively won the gold medal of Shanghai langjingshan international photography art;

2014年获“中国摄影金路奖”；2015年获阿尔山全国摄影大赛金质奖收藏，同年获中华摄影艺术金马奖。2010年获中国通俗文艺终身成就奖；2014年被评为全国公安系统文化之星；

In 2014, he won the "Golden Road award of Chinese photography"; in 2015, he won the gold medal collection of Aershan National Photography competition, and in the same year, he won the Golden Horse Award of Chinese photography art. In 2010, he won the lifetime achievement award of Chinese popular literature and art; in 2014, he was awarded the national public security system culture star;

2016年获上海郎静山国际摄影艺术终身成就奖；2017年获国际摄影终身成就奖；2018年获华夏艺术家终身成就奖。

In 2016, he won the Shanghai langjingshan International Photography Lifetime Achievement Award; in 2017, he won the international photography Lifetime Achievement Award; in 2018, he won the Chinese artist Lifetime Achievement Award.

摄影作品获得解放军画报全国评选一等奖、内蒙古摄影大赛一等奖、全国将军摄影展览金奖等奖项，多次在国内外参加、举办摄影展览，多幅作品被《中国摄影》杂志、《中国摄影家》杂志等权威摄影刊物刊用。

His photographic works have won the first prize of the national selection of the PLA pictorial, the first prize of the Inner Mongolia photography competition, and the gold award of the national general photography exhibition. He has participated in and held photography exhibitions at home and abroad for many times, and many of his works have been published by some authoritative photographic journals such as "China photography" magazine and "China Photographer" magazine.

2020年10月3日，在世界文联艺术家排行榜《每日一星》评选活动中荣获第一名。

On October 3, 2020, he won the first place in the selection activity of "one star of the day" of the World Federation of literary and art circles.
