1956年10月9日出生于北京市，舒耀瑄从小作文就写得很好，在北京东四十二条小学，他跟叶圣陶先生的孙女叶小沫是同班同学。文革时期，到云南“上山下乡”后来回城当了工人。
Born in Beijing on October 9, 1956, Shu yaoyu wrote well since childhood. He was in the same class with Ye Xiaomo, the granddaughter of Mr. Ye Shengtao, in Beijing Dongsi 12tiao primary school. During the cultural revolution, he "went to the mountains and countryside" in Yunnan and later returned to the city as a worker.
