全国首家旗舰店开进解放碑 当当书店为何落子重庆?

提起当当网,书迷们首先想到的可能是占据全国图书零售半壁江山的网络电商。近日,进军实体书店业的当当网将全国首家线下旗舰店开在了解放碑国泰广场,这也是重庆首家当当书店。

为何当当网会将全国首家旗舰店落子重庆?当当书店和其他实体书店有何不同?重庆日报记者就此进行了采访。

重庆旗舰店内共有百余个座位

据了解,当当书店是当当网的线下o+o(互联网概念,指线上线下融合)实体书店,目的在于补充线上缺乏的情景体验。此前,当当书店已在长沙、沈阳、长春、成都等地开了10家门店。

当当书店重庆旗舰店总面积约2500平方米,有近4万种共计10万册图书,分为文学馆、艺术馆、商业馆、青春馆、探索馆等9个馆。其中,比重最大的是文学馆,书籍总册数占全店的五分之一以上。除此之外,该店还引进了轻餐软饮、花艺家居、艺文教室、手作小物等6大跨界体验空间。

让人印象最深刻的是,书店内设有很多供读者坐下来看书的免费座位。对此,当当书店负责运营和市场的副总经理蒋智介绍:“可以说当当书店是目前重庆书店中为读者提供座位最多的书店,加上跨界体验空间,书店内共有百余个座位。”

除了增设桌椅外,书店里还有许多在现有空间内增加座位的“妙招”。

比如,进店不远就是一段不算短的台阶,台阶一半的宽度被改造成可供读者坐下阅读的木质台阶,台阶上还放着素雅的干草垫,不少读者在此捧书阅读;许多书架中间也被打空,底部是座位,顶部呈弧形,设计颇为别致;书店内还有随处可见的沙发……

看好重庆民营书店的发展

当当书店为何将全国首家旗舰店开在了重庆?

当当书店企宣部负责人张蕾告诉重庆日报记者,当当书店筹备初期是在北京进行的,至于首家旗舰店开在哪里,则面向全国进行选择。“筹备期间,我们发现西南地区民营书店发展势头迅猛,而重庆作为西南地区重要的城市,自然成了当当书店发展的重点。”

“在我们来重庆之前,这里已经有精典、西西弗、方所等民营书店。特别是西西弗书店,虽然起源于贵州,但他们已经把大本营搬到了重庆。”张蕾表示,民营书店在重庆的良好发展给了他们信心,“同时,重庆相关人才较多,这也是当当书店拓展规划中重点考虑的一环。”

2016年,当当书店将总部设在了重庆,2018年年初,又将全国首家旗舰店开进了解放碑国泰广场。

根据市文化委2017年初发布的《重庆市全民阅读调查报告》,重庆城市居民年人均纸质图书阅读量为6.14本,纸质阅读率达到73.4%,纸质书籍阅读升温。

张蕾表示:“重庆的整体阅读氛围变强也是我们在重庆开设旗舰店的主要原因之一。未来,当当还可能会在重庆主城九区和其他发展势头较好的区县开设书店。”

重庆日报记者了解到,当当书店重庆旗舰店作为当当网线下书店布局全国的首家旗舰店,在文化活动、学术交流等方面也有着得天独厚的优势。据悉,重庆旗舰店之后将会陆续邀请国内著名的专家学者和畅销书作家与重庆市民进行互动交流。

实体书店背后的互联网“基因”

值得一提的是,当当书店与其他实体书店的不同之处,也是其最大的特点,在于它的互联网“基因”。

当当书店总经理莫钧告诉重庆日报记者:“和传统的书店相比,当当书店重庆旗舰店将延续当当网的价格优势,实行线上线下一口价的定价模式。”

当当线下书店采取会员制,办理成为当当书店会员后,读者购书可以享受与线上同价,甚至更低的价格折扣,“从6.5折起,有的图书还能低至4折、5折。”

同时,当当书店重庆旗舰店内配备了3台智能化的自助查询系统,读者可以查阅线下线上书籍信息,进行价格比较后再付费购买。

除此之外,当当书店还依托当当网18年累积的大数据和背后强大的图书供应链,深度分析重庆读者的阅读喜好,挑选符合本地读者口味和阅读习惯的图书,并定期推出个性化的推荐书单。近期,当当书店就将对外发布线上消费者分析报告。

2月4日,正在当当书店选书的蒋琪琪接受重庆日报记者采访时表示:“我很喜欢实体书店的氛围,当当书店图书的价格和线上差不多,能享受到价格优惠,同时还能在书店里感受书香氛围,我觉得非常好。”

对于当当书店来渝,重庆购书中心总经理李晖认为:“当当网做实体书店,根据数亿用户带来的大数据进行用户分析是其明显的优势。当当在渝开店,对于其他实体书店,肯定会存在竞争。但价格其实是次要的,打造书店品牌和扩大阅读的覆盖面,大家一起共同助推城市的阅读氛围、共同做大这个市场才是最重要的。”
