2017年1月18日，在日内瓦万国宫“共商共筑人类命运共同体”高级别会议上，中国国家主席习近平站在人类历史发展进程的高度，以大国领袖的责任担当和“以天下为己任”的情怀，深刻、全面、系统阐述人类命运共同体理念。一年来，构建人类命运共同体的理念不断涌现在世界舞台，成为全球“热词”。近期，一批海外国际友人、专家学者通过人民网镜头阐述了他们对习近平“人类命运共同体”思想的深刻理解和认知。

人民网悉尼2月1日电（记者盛楚宜）澳大利亚悉尼大学商学院教授汉斯·杭智科博士近期接受本网记者专访时称，“习近平主席提出的构建人类命运共同体的理念为中国对全球化进程作出了一个重要的、清晰的承诺。在当前全球化进程在某种程度上受到阻碍的背景下，来自中国的承诺将会是非常必要的。我们都希望能为全球化的一部分，希望同其它国家合作，所以我们都是人类命运共同体这一理念的支持者。另外，一带一路倡议也是十分重要的，对区域的发展具有重要意义。”
