构建艺术东方学 筑就文艺学术高峰

　　习近平总书记在党的十九大上所作的报告振奋人心，用单独一个章节对文化进行了高屋建瓴的阐述，洪亮地指出，中国共产党从成立之日起，既是中国先进文化的积极引领者和践行者，又是中华优秀传统文化的忠实传承者和弘扬者。这传达出中国特色社会主义进入新时代背景下我们党应担负起的新的文化使命，实际上也为中国艺术今后的发展指出了两个基本方向：一是以优秀的传统文化作为根源思想，二是从当代先进文化中取得主体精神。

　　党的十八大以来，我国艺术创作、文化发展取得了很大成就。其中，以在文艺工作座谈会上的讲话和在第十次文代会、第九次作代会开幕式上的讲话为代表的习总书记系列讲话，是推进中国文化繁荣发展最为重要、最为强大的动力。系列讲话以人民为中心，立中国精神之魂、兴文化自信之风、扎时代生活之根，指出了当代文艺创作的一系列关键性问题，明确了需要倡导的精神方向，激发起整个文艺界的蓬勃创作力量，带来了一系列新气象。

　　十九大报告勾画出一幅未来强国蓝图。在这样震古烁今的时代，更需要我们坚定文化自信，树立起更具文化高度与影响力的学术旗帜。这样的旗帜是什么？“视觉艺术东方学”就是其中之一，即立足传承与弘扬中华优秀传统文化、引导与践行当代先进文化两大基础，构筑当代中国艺术创作和教育新体系。

　　这里的“东方”既是指亚欧板块东部的地域和族群，又意味着在全球文化格局中与西方文化相异互动的一种独特的文化模型。它既是一个地理概念，同时也是一种文化概念。作为一个地理概念，“东方”有自己的文化历史和鲜明特征，建构着生机勃勃的社会生活。作为一种文化模型，以中华优秀传统文化为代表的东方在不断实现自我超越和变化的同时，应始终坚持发扬文化独特根源的核心内涵。因此，“视觉艺术东方学”既要坚持以中华优秀传统文化为核心的东方艺术根源，也要发扬时代沃土中不断发展的主体精神，创造一系列兼具旺盛思想活力、高雅精神品位、多元艺术创新的文化产品，从而促进社会主义文艺的繁荣发展。

　　为此，我国文艺界应主动承担四项任务：一是转化传统。我们要继续深入研究和解释中国艺术、东方艺术的原典、原文、原作，充分把握由此生发出的创造性因素，实现十九大报告中指出的创造性转化、创新性发展。二是强化主体。我们强调东方主体精神，并不等于完全否决西方文化，而是要强化与西方的比较研究，从全人类立场与东方主体经验出发重构东方艺术的体验和认识体系。三是活化日常。要将认识体系应用到艺术创作的实践中，活化为一种精神品位，来引领技艺传习、育人之道、艺术创作等日常生活的方方面面。四是优化发展。要以两大方向为基础，催生生机勃勃的中国作品，促进文艺创作，提升创作水平，构筑新体系。文艺界要用上述四项任务来指导中国未来的艺术创作、艺术研究与人才培养。

　　中国美术学院将深入学习和贯彻党的十九大精神，全面落实立德树人根本任务，感通人民之心、深耕中国大地，培育和弘扬社会主义核心价值观，坚持民族优秀文化自信，在当代语境中激发中国传统艺术的创新活力，在世界艺术的大格局中弘扬中国精神，把优秀传统活化到今天、传递给未来，回馈给世界、筑就中华民族伟大复兴时代的文艺和学术高峰。

The "Orient" here is not only the geographical and ethnic groups in the eastern part of Eurasian plate, but also a unique cultural model interacting with western culture in the global cultural pattern. It is not only a geographical concept, but also a cultural concept. As a geographical concept, "Orient" has its own cultural history and distinctive features, and constructs a vibrant social life. As a cultural model, the oriental culture represented by Chinese excellent traditional culture is constantly realizing self transcendence and change. Meanwhile, we should always carry forward the core connotation of the unique source of culture. Therefore, the "visual art Orientalism" should not only adhere to the Oriental art origin of Chinese traditional culture as the core, to carry forward the spirit of the main development of the times the fertile soil, create a series of both exuberant vitality and elegance, taste the spirit of Ideological and artistic innovation of multi cultural products, so as to promote the prosperity and development of socialist literature.

To this end, China's literary and artistic circles should take the initiative to undertake four tasks: one is to transform the tradition. We should continue to further study and explain the original, original and original works of Chinese art and Oriental Art, fully grasp the creative factors from this life, and achieve the creative transformation and innovative development pointed out in the nineteen reports. On the basis of the two major directions, we should promote the vitality of Chinese works, promote literary and artistic creation, improve the level of creation and build a new system. The arts and art circles should use these four tasks to guide the future of Chinese art creation, art research and talent cultivation.
