2018年“瑞犬迎春，好运旺旺”中国新年灯会新闻发布会19日在悉尼举行，主办方向媒体、公众介绍了灯会的相关事宜和亮点。

此次中国新年灯会由澳洲中华经贸文化交流促进会（华贸会）主办、澳大利亚南海文化传媒集团承办。据华贸会执行主席陈星惠介绍，中国新年灯会已逐渐成为悉尼人在春节期间最期待的文化活动之一，自从三年前中国新年灯会走入悉尼以来，不但使悉尼华人社区感受到了中国春节的喜庆氛围，更让无数海外游客对中国传统文化产生浓烈的兴趣。如今，悉尼中国新年灯会已经成为促进中澳两国文化交流、丰富澳大利亚多元文化的重要平台，并逐渐成为悉尼人最期待的年度文化盛世之一。今年的新年灯会和前三年相比，将会规模更大、并更具创意，不仅有代表东方的传统花灯组，还融合有西方的舞台灯光元素。

悉尼中国文化中心主任陈霜在新闻发布会上表示，本届灯会开幕式上将特邀嵩山少林寺武僧们，展示中国功夫、拳法和多项少林绝技，让在澳喜欢中国武术的爱好者们进一步了解中国武术，这也将成为本届活动的一大亮点。

2018年是中国传统的狗年，“汪汪”谐音“旺旺”，取兴旺发达的美好寓意。灯会现场将会巧妙地将“旺”字镶嵌在活动之中。灯会现场将分为7个区，设置一个主舞台和四个分舞台。场地分为“瑞犬迎新春”、“身心旺”、“事业旺”、“财运旺”、“家运旺”、“旺事平安”和“旺福金安”7个分区。届时，情人港将在花灯的装扮下绚烂多姿。

据悉，本届悉尼中国新年灯会将于2月22日至26日在悉尼情人港举行，其中2月23日到25日会有庙会活动，游客不仅可以观赏具有中国特色的花灯，还可以在数十个摊位上挑选各类中国特色年俗商品，品尝各地街头美食。

当天，华贸会常务副主席张智森、南海文化传媒集团总裁李冰、澳华文联主席余俊武等嘉宾还出席了发布会。
