沈鹏，1931年出生，江苏省江阴市人。1950年起在《人民画报》社工作，曾任人民美术出版社编辑室副主任、总编室主任、副总编辑并兼任编审委员会常务副主任，享受国务院批准的政府特殊津贴、出版界专家待遇，1993年3月当选为第八届全国政协委员。沈鹏既是编辑出版专家，又是著名书法家、美术评论家及诗词作家，历任中国书法家协会常务理事、副主席、代主席、中国书法家协会主席、荣誉主席及艺术品中国荣誉艺术顾问。作品参加2011年8月23日在中国革命军事博物馆开幕的“光荣的使命——全国新闻出版行业书画展”。

Shen Peng, born in 1931 in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. Since 1950, he has worked in the People's Pictorial. He once served as the deputy director of the editorial room, the director of the chief editor room, the deputy chief editor of the People's Fine Arts Publishing House, and also served as the executive deputy director of the editorial and review committee. He enjoyed the special government allowance and the treatment of publishing experts approved by the State Council. He was elected as a member of the 8th CPPCC National Committee in March 1993. Shen Peng is not only an expert in editing and publishing, but also a famous calligrapher, art critic and poetry writer. He has successively served as the executive director, vice chairman, acting chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, chairman, honorary chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and honorary art consultant of China. The work participated in the "Glorious Mission - National Press and Publication Industry Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition", which was opened at the Chinese Revolutionary Military Museum on August 23, 2011.
